Winter is the hardest season  on your vehicle. Preparing your car by doing some basic maintenance can make the winter easier on your car and you as the driver. The following tips can help to reduce the risk of accidents in slippery winter conditions!

There are a few things to check on your tires to prepare for  the winter. First, check your tread and tire pressure to  make sure they are where  they should be. If you live in an area with consistently bad weather, it may be a good idea to look into snow tires for the season.

With weather cooling down, you need to make sure your oil is the right viscosity. You can ask a shop provider use an oil that is best for the winter. You can also check the owner's manual if you are doing  it yourself.

Winter weather can be hard on your wiper blades, so it is important to change them regularly. Ideally they should be changed twice a year.
